PURPOSE:

Mainly responsible for the analysis/coordination of all assigned projects, their associated budgets, and the schedules of operational teams.

Ensures that the Operations Director and Operations Manager are aware of issues that will impact project completion or cost, and proactively seeks to identify and communicate any risks related to scheduling and budget.

Also responsible for supporting client proposals and other projects and initiatives of the operational team.


FUNCTIONS:


  • Work with various project managers on assigned projects from start to finish, supporting all activities including supplier contracts, orders, building permits, construction, and project closure, ensuring they are effectively and efficiently coordinated.
  • Attend internal and external meetings (project developments, kickoffs, maintenance, etc.) with project managers and team members to review the status of each project, noting risks and escalating as necessary to ensure project completion within deadlines.
  • Manage multiple projects and work closely with project managers, clients (internal and external), and suppliers throughout the project.
  • Monitor and communicate supplier performance (KPIs) using tracking tools and reports on at least a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that tracker files are completed and updated for various projects and that deliverables or completed documents are kept up to date.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure all project milestones and executed activity dates are updated accurately in project tracking files (tracker) as well as in company tools.
  • Prepare and understand financial information of projects impacting construction costs and operational expenses.
  • Maintain all project information and data in the company database and use workflow and project management tools to review assigned projects.
  • Assist in uploading site documents and files into databases.
  • Contribute to the development of financial models for various business proposals.
  • Assist the finance department in submitting all invoices and tracking them in the financial tool.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Operations and/or Operations Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position works in a standard office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must hold a fouryear university degree, preferably in a technical field,
  • Experience in deploying wireless communication systems, site acquisition, and project management is a plus,
  • Proficient user of MS Office, especially MS Excel and pivot tables,
  • French & English fluent,
  • Demonstrated multitasking ability and project management skills,
  • Disciplined and organized individual with attention to detail,
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment; ability to work independently and interact with colleagues, management, suppliers, internal and external clients, etc.
  • Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to summarize and present data in an organized and concise manner.
