- Organize the transportation of goods between our international suppliers and clients via various modes of transportation, including land and sea.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt delivery at the right price.
- Negotiate long-term contracts with trucking and shipping providers for cost optimization.
- Liaise with our warehousing partners for the unloading, storage, and loading of materials.
- Prepare and review all required shipping documentation, including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin.
- Ensure compliance with customs requirements and import/export documentation.
- Support Traders in resolving any issues related to transportation.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Stay up to date on trends in international logistics, risk management, and regulatory changes.
- 3-5 years of experience in international shipping and forwarding operations
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of the supply chain, from negotiation and contracting with carriers to customs clearance and trade compliance.
- Experience in handling the logistics of recyclable materials (plastics, metal scrap, etc.)
- Proficiency using a CRM system and Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Language Proficiency: English (language of work); additional languages such as French, Spanish, or others are a plus.

We are seeking a talented and reliable Shipping and Forwarding Logistics Specialist to join our team on-site in Lille.
Vos missions
As the shipping and forwarding specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely transportation of materials from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with our traders to realize deals, with additional opportunities to optimize our materials flows. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing all transportation operations, from coordinating with shipping providers to ensuring customs clearance.
