is market leader in the Benelux and Romania and also active in France and Germany. With our team we realize projects tailored to the user.

WDP grew out of a family business and is now listed as BE-REIT on Euronext Brussels and Amsterdam and a member of BEL20, with a real estate portfolio valued at approximately €9 billion.

To strengthen our growing WDP team in France, we are looking for a
Legal Counsel.

In this role, you will focus on real estate contracts, development and leasing, without losing sight of the general legal overview.

Your mission

• You will work on leasing and contractual matters: providing advice, drawing up contracts, negotiating and working on disputes, environmental issues, insurance, etc.
• You will provide legal support to the various teams within WDP: commercial, finance, project management, property management, energy, as well as assisting with real estate transactions.
• You will coordinate on permitting, environment, PPPs and energy aspects.
• You will contribute to dispute management, such as pre-litigation, litigation support, settlement drafting.
• You will work in close collaboration with the other Legal Counsels in the other countries and the wider European team.
• You will directly report to the Country Manager France.

Your profile

• You have a master's degree in French law and at least seven years' relevant experience working in a law firm, notary office or other company;
• You are fluent in French and have a very good command of English;
• You have excellent written and spoken communication skills;
• You're a real team player who's looking for a challenging and exciting job, working in close collaboration with specialists in a range of professional fields;
• You enjoy taking initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility;
• You are disciplined and work in a structured way;
• You combine business acumen with a pragmatic approach and strong commercial mindset.
