The Role and What You'll Do:

Entertainment & Experiential Director is a key role with a primary responsibility for developing and executing Entertainment & Experiential activations and experiences for On Location's hospitality programs for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This role will work focus on the delivery of innovative, sustainable and efficient Entertainment & Experiential activations and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Entertainment requirements such as live and digital music, all forms of roving or static entertainment and digital content as well as Experiential requirements such as athlete appearances and XR sports experiences across all hospitality venues.

Work as part of the Event Production team to develop, refine and finalize an overall Entertainment & Experiential vision within On Location's in venue and off venue hospitality locations.
Conduct a detailed infrastructure survey of each venue, assessing available and viable spaces for the installation and delivery of Entertainment & Experiential activations and experiences.
Plan Entertainment & Experiential equipment requirements for all venues as the lead for all Entertainment & Experiential elements of the hospitality program with a focus on developing creative activations and experiences to enhance the customer experience.
Source and manage all Entertainment & Experiential suppliers where required including the implementation of project plans, installation guidelines and operational delivery plans ensuring supplier compliance.
Creative mind to curate the entertainement and experiential activations on site and off site, in line with the creative and innovative direction On Location is setting up for the Olympic Hospitality.
Go beyond the classic experiential and entertainment hospitality "cliché" and bring innovations.
Assess, source and manage the line up of talents and Olympian appearances.
Manage the digital content creation across hospitality spaces.
Prepare and manage all Entertainment & Experiential documentation, including maps and drawings, set up and de rig requirements as well running order and live entertainment plans.
Oversee Entertainment & Experiential staff recruitment requirements to build the team to deliver a successful execution with a focus on operational efficiencies.
Work collaboratively with other functional area teams, for instance Catering, Overlay Design & Build and Technical, to deliver a firstclass hospitality experience.
Work collaboratively with Paris 24 and the IOC.
Manage and report regularly on approved Entertainment & Experiential budgets.
Gather, track and report on KPIs related to Paris 2024 sustainability commitments for the Games.

General Responsibilities:

Oversee scope milestones and deadlines
Forecast, qualify and maintain budgets
Oversee assigned portions of P&L and track expenditures
Manage project team and move work forward daily within team environment
Facilitate and lead production meetings with key staff and vendors
Troubleshoot, anticipate and act proactively on event aspects of role leading up and following turn over to production implementation team
Maintain and manage venue and venue vendor relationships
Administrative & Other, including but not limited to:
Expense Reports
Process Invoices
File storage
Weekly hours billing reports

Other Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
