    Power Electronics Engineer (Modelling or Controls)

    In this position, depending on your background, you will take the lead in designing, developing, and implementing advanced power electronics controls and applications.

    Or you'll be at the forefront of designing and analyzing high and medium-voltage power systems for applications throughout the energy sectors, including propulsion, rotating equipment, major drives and motors as well as energy transformation topics.

    Your responsibilities will include (if you have control background):

    • Creating integrated control solutions and application software
    • Developing vector control algorithms for power bridges and electrical machines
    • Defining machine sequences and control strategies
    • Validating programs through integration testing
    • Providing commissioning support to customers

    Your responsibilities include (if you have simulation background)

    • Sizing electrical system components and defining specifications
    • Modelling and simulating systems to validate performance
    • Conducting harmonic, transient, and stability studies
    • Defining protection schemes and selectivity
    • Providing commissioning support for projects
    • Supporting the tender process through to commissioning

    To excel in this role, you will have:

    • A degree in power electronics or electrical engineering
    • Experience with control or modelling & simulation software
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Fluency in English
