Background


As leader of luxury wines and spirits, MH must uphold regulatory standards: beyond the traditional compliance with geographical indications "cahier des charges" of well-established products, a thorough regulatory check is needed not only for the countries of production, but also for the countries of destination.

The regulatory environment is evolving as the industry is facing increased pressure, driven by consumer demand for increased transparency, food safety and environmental concerns.

As part of the Operation Teams, a Regulatory Affairs team has been newly created to address those challenges.

The mission of the team is to get organized in order to:


  • Forecast and develop clear labelling strategies across Maisons and markets.
  • Create a single point of contact for internal clients: Maisons and Markets.
  • Increase regulatory compliance especially for New Maisons.
  • Ensure compliance by design for innovation.
  • Proactively anticipate evolutions in term of international regulations.
  • Reinforce ability to defend MH position in term of regulations (content, bottle, packaging).
  • Ensure homogeneous know how and deployment on regulatory affairs across MH

The Job


Reporting to the Director of MH's Regulatory Affairs, the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator will develop practices and provide support to Maisons & Markets in order to ensure regulatory compliance of MH products.


  • Coordinate registration procedures in countries where required by local or regional regulation
  • Provide a regulatory assessment to ensure regulatory compliance priori shipment in alignment with Supply Chain and Maison and their plans
  • Keep uptodate the regulatory database mapping regulatory requirements for registration in countries of destination
  • Ensure uptodate statements and certificates from Maison available for the internal stakeholder at export
  • Cascade regulatory changes and requirements at key stakeholders within the export process: Supply Chain, Markets and Maison

Profile:


Education & experience:


  • Degree in engineering, science or other relevant field of expertise.
  • 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance or related activities (including apprenticeships and internships)
  • Interest in consumer information, regulatory development globally
  • Knowledge of food related regulations of EU and other regions or key markets is a plus.

Languages:


  • French/English native speaker equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to evolve within a complex matrix organization.
  • Rigorous, accurate and strong interpersonal skills. A team player with a sense of humor and selfawareness.
  • Proactive and practical, think ahead and see around corners.
