The Renewables Division is responsible for the development, construction, operation and maintenance, asset management and financing of renewable energy projects: large and small scale solar (distributed generation), onshore and offshore wind, offgrid energy and storage. Its strategic goal is to accumulate 35 GW of operational renewable energy capacity by 202
With over 10 GW installed by the end of 2021, the planned operational capacity is expected to reach over 5 GW/year. This represents annual project investments of approximately $4 billion/year in TotalEnergies shares and approximately $20 billion in debt to be secured.
You have the opportunity to join TotalEnergies Renewables to take on a new challenge and join the renewable energy sector within the company. We are looking for a talented, committed and enterprising individual. You will be assigned to solar projects across the global scope of the Distributed Generation subsidiary.
Distributed Generation (DG) a wholly owned subsidiary of Total SA (created in is dedicated to the development, construction, operation and financing of industrial and tertiary solar projects worldwide. REN/DG's ambition is to develop in the next 5 years an international leadership and a commendable presence in the market of decentralised solar energy production on industrial and tertiary sites, aiming at a market share of 10 to 20% in the main selected markets.
As a Project Finance Analyst F/H, reporting to the Business Unit DG Economics Manager, you will be responsible for:
Supporting business developers in their bidding process and asset managers by providing financial expertise and technical support on models
Conducting economic analyses for the General Management and contributing to the decisionmaking process for investments, mergers/acquisitions and disposals, and project structuring
Maintain economic models in conjunction with the Finance, Financing and Tax department
Develop data collection of assets in operation alongside local hubs to establish real asset portfolio analyses.

You will liaise with:

Management: DG Management, local hubs
Finance departments: finance, IFRS experts, tax teams, corporate finance
Legal team, business developers...
The environment is rapidly changing and the market is very competitive and complex.
Degree from a business or engineering school.
5 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, in corporate finance or economics positions on longterm projects
Strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in multiple business cultures.
Background and economic analysis/valuation, financing, modelling
Languages: English, French,
