Senior Document Controller
**Location: Paris

Subsea 7 is looking for a talented
Senior Document Controller that will ensures that the projects technical documentation is properly checked and formatted.
In that regard, the Senior Document Controller supervises the Document Controllers team within the project. They liaise with other project disciplines to coordinate the Document Control actions and reporting.
The Senior Document Controller ensures all documents are finalized at project end and that the Final Documentation is correctly compiled.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup the documentation process and issue the Project Document Control Procedure
- Setup the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
- Cooperate with Engineering and Planning disciplines to fill document numbers and format information in the Master Document Register (MDR). Ensure that all documents are referenced
- Cooperate with SCM in order to fill document numbers and format information in the Suppliers Document Registers (SDR). Ensure that all documents are referenced
- Present the document process and format at supplier Kick-Off Meetings
- Ensure that documents format is checked
- Check and update metadata in the EDMS
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Expertise in MS Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat software
- Good knowledge of IT network and information systems
- Mastery of documentation flow and process
- Knowledge of documentation planning
- Advanced knowledge of EDMS
- Team leadership
- Proactive in report monitoring
- Basic knowledge of other disciplines (engineering, SCM, Quality, HSE,)
- Fluency in English and French
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative problem solving able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
- Sound communication skills able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision
- The ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously
