Description

Luminary Group, in collaboration with a world-leading Biotech, is seeking an Account Manager who will report directly to the Sales Manager.

As a Systems Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in strategically managing commercial accounts and promoting cutting-edge scientific analysis solutions to various markets including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food, environmental, chemical, and academic research sectors.

Operating within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will actively engage with colleagues to foster innovation and share best practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute action plans to expand and renew product portfolios.
  • Tailor strategies for each account to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers through various engagement channels.
  • Conduct technical and commercial presentations, offering expert advice to clients.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and respond to tenders.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular activity reports and maintain CRM database.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless customer service and support.
  • Utilize company resources for training and documentation.
  • Travel to customer sites and attend team meetings as required.

Requirements:


  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Physics preferred; PhD advantageous.
  • Previous sales experience or customerfacing role in relevant industries.
  • Knowledge of LC and MS instrument technologies desirable.
  • Strong networking and presentation skills.
  • Commercial acumen with persuasive abilities.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
