Created in 2006, Connection Events organizes professional events for the video game industry. The events take place in France, the United States and all around the world.


Game Connection is a Business convention dedicated to video game professionals, taking place twice a year in San Francisco and in Paris.

Our shows gather between 2000 and 4000 professionals coming from all over the world.

We are recruiting a "Business Development Manager/Content Manager" for a CDI contract.


You will be in charge of the identification, prospecting, and recruitment of VIP clients in the video games industry (game publishers, distributors, investors) for the upcoming Game Connection Europe, taking place in Paris in November 2023.


Our VIP clients are very demanding international professionals from the video game industry, who attend our show to buy games and/or services.

They represent one of the main strengths of our events and a real added value for our company.


Tasks include (but not limited to):
Prospecting and sales follow-up

  • Development of strategic partnerships with key industry buyers, including publishers, platforms, investors, major service buyers
  • Creation of mailing campaigns to recruit VIP clients
  • Updating and managing orders for tickets, booths, sponsored items (payment process, invoices, additional inquiries, upsell)
  • Promoting VIP clients on social networks and newsletters, in collaboration with the marketing department

Content and conference management:

  • Creation of conference content for

Game Connection Europe:
selecting topics and speakers

  • Planning time, dates, location for Game Connection Europe conferences
  • Managing speakers before the show (logistics, tickets, travel arrangements, invitations...)
  • Promoting the conferences in collaboration with the marketing department
  • Taking care of the speakers and of the conference logistics during the event.

Profile:


  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in the video game industry/in an association related to the industry, if possible in an international environment.
  • You have a strong network of contacts in the video game industry.
  • Your English is fluent.
  • You want to get involved in a young, passionate and multicultural team.
  • You love business development.
  • You are willing to travel.
Hybrid position (work from home/office in Lyon 2), to be filled ASAP.
