    As our Group continues to expand its operations, we are seeking a Litigation Counsel with expertise in accounts receivable and vehicle returns to join our team.

    Areas of responsibility:

    You will be responsible for 2 main areas: process and operations.

    1.Process responsibilities

    • Review contracts (lease agreement with clients and service agreements with debt collection agencies) and internal policies to protect the company against clients insolvency and non-return of vehicles
    • Ensure that contracts and policies are legally sound and aligned with industry regulations and best practices
    • Provide guidance to internal teams on contract terms and procedures related to accounts receivable and vehicles returns
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations to ensure compliance

    2.Operations responsibilities

    • Manage legal aspects of vehicle returns, including lease terminations, damage claims, and dispute resolution
    • Support accounts receivables operations, including follow-up with delinquent clients and overseeing external debt collections agencies
    • Liaise with debt collection agencies and/or external legal counsel as needed to handle complex legal issues related to accounts receivables and vehicles returns
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align receivable and vehicle return strategies with overall business objectives
    • Represent the company in legal proceedings related to accounts receivable and vehicle returns as needed


    Expected skills:

    • Master of Laws or equivalent postgraduate degree in law
    • +4 years of experience, in law firm and/or in-house legal department
    • Experience with enforcement procedures and litigation (proven track record of working with bailiffs and lawyers in the field of debt recovery)
    • Knowledge of consumer protection laws, with familiarity in French preferred
    • Fluent in French and English (required) - Proficiency in German is a plus
    • Experience in the automotive sector or digital is an asset
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Flexible and ability to work under deadlines
    • Able to consider financial implications, risks, business impacts and working within a budget
