Job Description: General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversee the day-to-day operations of the crypto trading exchange platform, including trading activities, customer service, and compliance functions.
• Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team, including customer support agents, compliance officers, and technical staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as trading volume, liquidity, and customer satisfaction, and implement strategies to optimize performance and drive growth.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement robust risk management policies and procedures to mitigate trading risks, safeguard customer assets, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency industry, and leverage insights to inform decision-making and business strategy.
• Product Development: Collaborate with the technology team to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features that improve the user experience and attract new customers.
• Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other crypto companies, financial institutions, and service providers to expand the exchange's ecosystem and enhance its value proposition.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing cryptocurrency exchanges, including AML/KYC requirements, licensing obligations, and reporting obligations.
• Customer Engagement: Foster positive relationships with customers, address their concerns and feedback, and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to manage the exchange's financial resources effectively, including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue optimization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role within the cryptocurrency or financial services industry, preferably with a solid 3-year or more track record of success in managing trading operations and teams.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading strategies, and blockchain technology, with the ability to navigate the complexities of the crypto ecosystem.
• Market Knowledge : Preferably with proven experience in France, Spain, Portugal and or Poland.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, including team members, customers, and regulators.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing market conditions, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in the cryptocurrency industry.
