    The Sustainability Data Manager will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and communicating sustainability related data to drive continuous improvement in our overall sustainability performance. The Sustainability Data Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sustainability metrics, helping the organization achieve its sustainability goals.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive and agile sustainability data management system dedicated to non-financial, safety, and environmental data
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) of "Life+Nature" related initiatives to track progress and support improvement.
  • Improve, implement & document data collection processes, manage data contributor & validator community and supervise tools to ensure data governance and gather sustainability data in the most accurate and timely manner
  • Analyze and interpret non-financial, safety, and environmental data to provide project leaders with clear appraisal on trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate data & dashboards to issue reports in different forms, with different frequency: EHS monthly report, quarterly Carbon reduction trajectory, annual sustainability report...
  • Support the preparation of annual sustainability reports and other external communications, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Stay current on standards (CSRD, ISO, ISCC...), market tools and best practices in sustainability data management to provide guidance and recommendations for adapting reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the integration of non-financial, safety, and environmental data set into company-wide systems and processes.
  • Train and support teams on sustainability related data management tools & processes.
  • Functional Competencies:

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability.

    Technical Competencies:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

    Proficiency in data management and analysis software, such as Excel, Qlik Sense, Smartsheet or similar tools.

    Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (GRI, SASB, Ecovadis...) with a focus on non-financial, safety, and environmental aspects.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in finance, sustainability, environmental science, data management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability data management, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on non-financial, safety, and environmental performance.
