In this position, the Group Purchasing BPO will work under the management of the

Process & Tools Director.

  • Recently a new purchasing organization has been rolled out with the ambition to:
  • To strengthen the purchasing function performance aiming to a better alignment with the business needs
  • To bring assistance to the organization of the Business Groups.
  • To improve and align the purchasing process and tools

Responsibilities And Tasks:


  • The Business Process Owner will be in charge of the group's purchasing processes improvement and spread out.
  • He/she Contributes to the transformation of the purchasing function through:
  • Processes & change management
  • Purchasing Function Process Owner
  • Simplification and standardisation of the endtoend purchasing processes
  • Development of process & deployment of best practices in functional area of improvement (ex: supplier management, supplier panel,)
  • Continuous improvement identification and activation
  • Performance management, implementing and monitoring adequate KPIs & reporting in cooperation with Controller
  • Change management and continuous development plans of the function community, including trainings (Purchasing Academy) and other programs
  • Transversal initiatives leadership or support in context of Function transformation & roadmap
- (ex: supplier events, complexity reduction, supplier risk management )
  • The BPO should:
  • Understand and formalize procurement processes,
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancy between the current implementation and the core model.
  • As part of the Group's transformation, she/he will work closely with key local users to ensure the right understanding and successful implementation and/or adaptation of the procurement processes, as well as to achieve the desired performance. He/she will conduct assessment, survey and audits as needed to ensure compliance to Purchasing processes.
  • She/he will train endusers. She/he is responsible for the management of documents and routines for the training and dissemination of these documents
  • She/he will be responsible for the training on both processes and tools around the purchasing processes (BI, PowerBI, saving principles.)
  • She/he will be a point of contact for the SAP Hana and Ariba's project, will support the s project's s and support the organizational change management efforts that are linked.
  • She/he will work closely with other BPOs, purchasing managers and purchasing shared service centers to understand their needs in order to adapt the processes and ensure efficient improvements.
  • She/he will develop & deploy Purchasing best practices in functional area of improvement (ex: supplier management, supplier panel,), work to continuously improve these processes to increase productivity and efficiency through LEAN management.
  • She/he will ensure that all processes comply with Management rules, purchasing policies
  • She / he will lead a number of additional Transversal initiatives to support the Function transformation & roadmap (ex: function communication, supplier events, market intelligence, benchmarks, function competencies development, best practices development)

What We Are Looking For:


  • Fluent in English
  • Strong experience in Process Management Source to Pay, Purchasing, Logistics or Sales
  • SAP experience (MM, PP and PS modules) is desirable
  • Experience of
  • SAP ARIBA modules or any other electronic purchasing tool (contract management, suppliers, supply chain, supply chain, electronic catalogs)) is desirable
  • PowerBI, tableau
  • Master's degree in a relevant field and 5 to 8 years of professional experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a complex and fastpaced international environment
  • Serviceoriented with proven track record and ability to challenge statusquo, Analytical mindset, very structured and process oriented with pragmatic vision
  • Mastering internal Communication
  • 6sigma or/and lean methodology experienced preferred
