As our
Global Head of People for Le Wagon, your mission will be to define the global people strategy and ensure our employees (180+ Wagoners based in 10+ countries over the world) feel empowered not only to secure Le Wagon's top ratings as one of the best worldwide Tech Training providers, but also to enjoy their ride at Le Wagon and develop themselves.


Reporting into the COO and leading a team of 4 (Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Internal Communications and Employer Brand), your role will be critical in securing operational excellence and partnering with the business to unlock the next steps for Le Wagon.

As our Head of People, Your Mission is in the following key areas:

People Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that supports the Le Wagon's growth and longterm objectives.
  • Manage People Budget and define related guidelines (for example, travel & team building policies, IT equipment, etc)
  • Prioritize People Projects to continue building an innovative yet very strong People structure to provide Wagoners with a stellar employee experience
  • Partner with the Csuite to align people initiatives with business priorities and ensure effective communication of key messages to employees.
  • Handle sensitive communications and provide guidance to leadership on change management.

People Processes and Stakeholders Support

  • Manage key people processes such as: Compensation Review, Variables and Performance Review and provide all necessary docs prior to each key people process rollout.
  • Compensation review: define budget, applicable policies and processes, send all documentation + tools to collect compensation requests, facilitate arbitration at C-Team level, cascade down back to employees. Produce all required data for financial reporting.
  • Variables: define policy + roll out variable plans every year (process documentation, coaching managers, side letters to issue to employees).
  • Performance review: process + tool ownership, define the applicable process, support managers and employees during all phases.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and action plans.
  • Manage employee disputes and provide 1:1 coaching on adhoc topics
  • Support our People Team in training and development initiatives to support our Wagoners in their growth (skills assessment, learning and development, career paths, etc)

Employee Relations:


  • Partner with local legal counsels as needed to address more complex situational issues and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • In France:
  • Set the agenda for our 3 CSE committees (along with the founder in charge and the General Counsel) and provide all required data.

Payroll:


  • Oversee global payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • This mainly consists in support the People Operations Manager in preparing and delivering payroll for all our countries
  • For France, you will be in charge for handling more complex payroll topics directly with our external payroll provider

Leading our People Team:


  • Define the People Team's priorities, in alignment with the roadmap you will oversee and deliver.
  • Support People Operations to deliver accurate and ontime payroll every month, make the most of our tools (BambooHR) to get a detailed and precise view of our employees, along with clarifying our operational processes (time off, benefits, perks for instance) to ensure working at Le Wagon is as smooth as possible.
  • Support Internal Communication and knowledge sharing in fostering transparency and open discussion within Le Wagon, while bolstering every Wagoner's growth by highlighting their expertise.
