Role Overview
The Business Development Intern will assist the global Business Development (BD) team in designing country-wide programs in France.

We are looking for an individual passionate about helping to grow the life science industry in France by building an ecosystem that empowers bio innovators to grow quickly while maximizing capital efficiency.

The successful applicant is eager to learn and has an interest in the French life science ecosystem and work to forge relationships and create opportunities.

Responsibilities

Survey and collect an overview of services needed for earlystage life science startups and support developing a road map on how other BioLabs sites meet those needs
Collaborate with the Communications & Events team to work on marketing initiatives to promote BioLabs services to the wider community
Gain an understanding of industry relationships impacting Life Sciences and the BioLabs site in France
Learn to develop largescale scientific partnerships with public and/or private actors in collaboration with the BD team and lab teams
Assist the event team in the setup of innovation community opening events
Participate in networking events representing BioLabs France to widen BioLabs' presence in France

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in business or a related field of study, preferably M2 or equivalent
Detailoriented, organized, and ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment
Strong work ethic, team, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and creative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in French and English
Interest in the life science/biotech or laboratory space, preferred
