Your role


You will join a team of specialists in Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Electromagnetism and Granular Flow applied to the processes of the steel industry (from mining, ironmaking to the coated product, for long, flat and tube products).

You will work closely with all ArcelorMittal R&D labs and for all ArcelorMittal plants.

You will provide solutions to ArcelorMittal plants where Fluid Dynamics applied to heat transfer, electromagnetism, flow modeling, etc


are key tools:

  • To produce steel in a sustainable way through incremental and breakthrough changes of our processes (CO2 & NOx reduction, energy savings) especially by the electrification of the heating processes using massively gases,
  • To propose innovative designs that increase the lifetime of our equipments,
  • To build the future of our plants by contributing to investment files,
  • To optimize daytoday operation by answering the questions of plant process engineers.

You profile

  • You hold a PhD in Fluid Mechanics (Heat Transfer, Electromagnetism, Energy).
  • Experimental skills especially in Fluid Mechanics like LDA, PIV, etc. are welcome.
  • You have a professional English level.
  • You have the ability to make experiments in laboratory and in plants.
  • You have good relationships ability in a team work, in internal and external networks.
  • You have to be fully committed and professional in customer oriented projects.
  • You will gradually take the responsibility of research projects and technical supports to deliver process solutions to ArcelorMittal plants.
