Your job will help to organize obsolescence activities at Alstom central level for Signalling and electronic sector.
In direct contact with representative users of Product and Project teams from all Alstom Signalling sites all around the world, you will have to:
- Explain activities for obsolescence monitoring and processing, when necessary.
- Help sites interlocutor to declare to central team, list of parts to be monitored in order to detect obsolescence announcement and to anticipate their end of life when possible.
- Organize with sites for each part list received: frequency of analysis, exchanges of data/report.
- Alert sites when new obsolescence is detected for a part, they are declared user.
- Capture site's decision/answer for each Obsolescence alert they have received.
- Challenge sites answers when leads to inconsistency between sites.
- Ensure all parts are well monitored: at optimized frequency, with appropriate tool, metadata and CCSS resources.
- Validate any obsolescence announcement detected by the team, propagate them rapidly to Alstom sites and analyse answers received from sites.
- Organize with CCSS backoffice teams based in Villeurbanne and in Bangalore all internal monitoring /processing activities with dedicated tools and methodology.
- Contribute to improve team global performance (propose new functions, automatization, reporting, activity indicators)
- Specify new or improvement of services delivered by Signalling CCSS to all internal customers (easy access to data/information).
- Specify and analyse indicators to verify quantity & quality of data managed inside CCSS tools and their consistencies with external tools (Alstom & Non-Alstom)
- Signalling Central Component Shared Service teams in Villeurbanne and India
- Data Management teams from other organizations Rolling Stock (RS), Service Platform,...
- Solution Owner, IS&T, Key Users in charge of tools managing Parts (PLMs, ERPs, Parts catalogue,)
- Engineering, Industrial and Sourcing people from any Signalling sites.
Educational Requirements:
- Either master graduate with 3 years' experience or equivalent.
- Either significant experience in Engineering, Industrialization /Manufacturing or Quality.
- Basic Knowledge of electronic component and electronic board/function, and management of their obsolescence (PDN, PCN,).
- Experience with electronic parts and BOM management.
- First experience of functional management will be a plus for this job.
- French fluent speaking & writing mandatory.
- English fluent speaking & writing mandatory.
- Fluent in communication in multicultural and multicountry context
