Job Summary:

Within the engineering department, belonging to the Head of Automation, your mission will be:

  • Carry out the definition, programming, testing and commissioning activities related to automation part ofprojects entrusted to you
  • Manage these activities in compliance with the contract defined with the Client (cost/time/performance), insupport of the project manager concerned.
  • Implement the methodologies and standards developed by the group
  • Perform SAV Automation interventions(Customer Training, Troubleshooting, Upgrades and small modifications of installed systems) and participate inoncall duty.
Permanent position based in France, Paris. This role is open to all Markets.


What you will do:


Definition, programing, testing and commissioning:

  • Produces technical risk analysis, budgeting and planning at the start of the business
  • Elaborates the Functional Analysis of the case in cooperation with the Process Engineer
  • Performs detailed specification tasks (Architecture, I / O List, Hardware Commands) and programming and commissioning)
  • Finalizes the Documentation of end of business necessary to the actions of Aftersales management of the activities

Compliance with the contract (costs, deadlines and performance):

  • Plans with the Project Manager the automation tasks to be carried out, within the framework of the case.
  • Controls the progress of the automation tasks and reevaluates the costs at completion (Quality and monthly frequency of business followup / Maintenance of costs and contractual deadlines).
  • Synthesizes the technical problems encountered on the automation part. Provides the Project Manager with improvements and solutions
  • Participates in the final report of technical / budget / planning of the part automation
Standardization and rationalization of the process elements of the installations:

  • Per case, ensures that the results of the design and programming are in accordance with the Customer contract and the detailed specifications of the beginning of the business (Deadline for automation reservations)
  • Streamlines programming elements
  • AF Blocks / Libraries / Program Blocks
  • Applies the Group standards set up by the Competence Coach Realization Automation
  • Tetra Plant Master (Number of Tetra Plant Master labels)

AV Automation (Responsiveness, Availability, Meaning of Service):

  • Provides on-call support for telephoning or even remote maintenance to Contract Customers
  • Performs troubleshooting or small scheduled changes on installed systems
  • Provides training (Customer Operators, Production Managers or Customer Maintenance) on installed programs

We believe you have:


  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Informatics, Automation or Electronic Engineering.
  • 23 years of experience in similar role with experience in PLC programing (Siemens), and ideally from food andbeverage sector
  • High level language skills in French and English with Spanish and or Italian as a plus
  • Dynamic, selfstarter and development oriented personality
  • Results oriented, team player, accountable
  • Ability to work independently and to handle/drive changes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical, methodical approach to problem solving
  • Full driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively up to 5060% of working time is required on customer sites
