Who are we?
We, Powertrain Engineering France, are proud product owners of Medium Duty engines, Conventional and Electrical Axles. Applications are diverse and visible everywhere in your life. These components are the heart of your city bus, the power generator of nearest hospital or the fire truck you saw this morning


We are constantly striving to build and grow the most efficient engineering teams, able and willing to shape tomorrow's transportation solutions with advanced methods and ways of working.

We work as one development team, supporting each other to secure delivery according to a decided product plan. We proactively recommend new technologies for future customer needs.

Finally, as part of the global Powertrain Engineering team, we share some responsibilities or support between site at needs.


Your mission and responsibility?


As Group Manager Rear Electric Axle, your mission is to drive the development of Electrical Axles for the full Volvo platform.

You develop a true collaboration with other teams within Powertrain organization.

You have the ambition to develop common designs and methods but also share engineering developments with other sites.

You will lead an experienced team of approximately 10 employees and be part of the Base Engine & Driveline leadership team.


Your mission as Group Manager:


You will manage a team of technical leaders, component responsible and designers in charge of the development of our electric propulsion driveline.

You shall be the proud Product Owner of the complete system over its life cycle with close cross-functional collaboration.


You succeed by developing the required stakeholder's network, and by innovating with new methodologies and way of working to improve our performance, quality and development lead-time.

You drive your team according to sustainable objectives (CO2 reduction, recycled and sustainable components & systems).

  • Master's degree in science or equivalent
