Description
As part of the Saint-Gobain University, theSGU - Learning Solutions & Services team provides transversal support to the Saint-Gobain University team, the Saint-Gobain business/functions, and an international L&D network by:
- Administering the Group Learning Management System ("Boost" LMS),
- Supporting a diverse ecosystem of learning platforms, content authoring tools and animation tools
- Supporting local administrators with regular LMSrelated tasks,
- Contributing to strategic reviews regarding tools and platforms
- Providing training and guidance to businesses/functions to determine most effective and adapted learning solution based on business needs in terms of pedagogy and technology.
- Contributing to L&D transformation through community animation, technology watch, best practice sharing and skills development
ROLE
The
_Learning Management System Engineer_ plays a key role in deepening and optimizing user adoption of the Group Learning Management System people).
She/he will be responsible for the oversight of the externalized support team, supporting the administration of the LMS, supporting potential country deployments, and ensuring optimal performance & continuous improvement (data governance).
He/she will be a contributor to strategic roadmap for HRIS systems, more specifically on the LMS part.
The main interlocutors for the _Learning Management System Engineer_ will be the Saint-Gobain University team, the support team, the L&D network in the countries, Group IT & HRIS teams, the Subject Matter Experts in the countries, and Cornerstone Product experts.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Support Team Management
- Monitor the support team, the Learning ticket platform operations and regular review of the tickets processed by support team: weekly meetings, monthly meetings, quarterly reviews, prioritization, planning, KPI analysis & monitoring, and support quality control.
- Oversee knowledge management and develop documentation & standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Design processes and resources to support internal clients at scale
- Define and oversee implementation of continuous improvement action plans
- Ensure the smooth running of support activities.
- Support the training offer and course publication
- Configure and conduct parameter tests on LMS according to the business needs
- Audit data quality, define and implement LMS cleanup activities
- Ensure the overall consistency of the settings implemented
Deployment of the learning solutions:
- Assist clients to adopt and use the LMS locally (workshops, user guides, documentation )
- Document configurations and map processes
- Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in key meetings with suppliers
- Drive adoption, identify optimizations and oversee implementation of continuous improvement action plans
- Ensure proper reporting, participate to dashboards design efforts, and help follow key performance indicators
- Monitor the quality of data and stability of data flows with other systems
- Support LMS product release management
- Contribute to Saint-Gobain strategic platform roadmap
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
You have a
higher education with a Master's degree including a specialization in
IT.
You have some hands-on experience
working with preferably an HRIS or else an ERP or CRM, in an
admin or trouble shooting capacity and preferably a minimum of
2 years of experience working with the Cornerstone Learning solution.
You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 environment (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Yammer) and ideally, an experience managing a
Ticketing System.

leadership and your
pragmatism.
A good working atmosphere is essential, you are
open-minded and appreciate teamwork.
The context being international, fluency in French and
English is essential.
The position is based at Saint-Gobain's head office in
La Défense (remote : 2 days per week).
