Position Title:
EHS Manager-Burullus CCPP

How You'll Make an Impact

Responsible for definition and deployment of Siemens O&M EHSprogram across all the power plant premises to ensure full EHS compliance andcontinual improvement in all areas
Putting forward recommendations, notifications and advice toStation, operation and maintenance managers, to enable them to fulfil theirlegal obligations in respect to EHS aspects
Manages the EHS Engineers and Supervisors within the power plant
Ensure prompt elimination of nonconformances
Definition and assimilation of procedures, methods, and tools toeffectively deploy the EHS management system
Comply with IFC guidelines and lenders requirements, and worktowards successful audits conducted by lenders representatives
Develops and implements EHS training
Support in preparation of hazard assessments and investigate andprepare accident reports, stipulating measures for prevention of the foregoing
Conducts risk reviews, compliance audits and internal assessmentof facilities
Evaluates EHS implications of new work introductions
Collection, analysis, and reporting of EHS MS metrics
Manages regulatory agency, 3rd party audits, inspections,inquiries, contacts, and reporting
Monitor developing international and local regulatory requirementsand initiatives; analyse potential impacts; provide practical recommendationsand risk analyses
Work in partnership with senior and site management to develop andimplement strategies, policies, and services to increase employee safety &reduce organization risks
Report directly to the Station Manager and the Division EHSManager

Bachelor of Engineering or Science
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
NEBOSH IDip or equivalent
Advantage
Minimum 10 years' experience in EHS with 5 years in managementposition
Experience in direct management of 510 employees
Experience in development/implementation of EHS MS
Interpersonal skills to promote safety culture and act as safetyadvocate throughout the company
Interpersonal skills to support problem solving and investigationof incidents
Experience in power generation power plant

Familiarity with IFC standards
