UX designer internship

We're seeking an intern in User Experience to join our Design Team that helps in building our Data Science Platform and other Dataiku products.

This role requires training in user experience design, usability and interaction design.

The intern UX designer will work on various projects with Product and Development teams based in Paris under the direction of one senior User Experience Designer.

The Dataiku Data Science Platform ambition is to be the most ergonomic Data Science platform that addresses citizen data science needs to full custom advanced analytics.

At Dataiku, you will work with a unique team of Data Scientists, Developers, UX Designers, UX researchers and Product Managers.

As part of this group, you will have the chance to view the full scope of what it takes to create a Professional Software that is both friendly and powerful.

Responsibilities

Take part in user interviews and usability tests
Understand and analyze briefs from different stakeholders
Create and test wireframes, user flows, lowfidelity prototypes
Design, run and analyze concept validation studies with a sample of users
Deliver pixelperfect designs in Figma

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Training in designrelated software (e.g., Figma, Miro, Principle etc).
Understanding of design approaches, technologies, and tools (including journey maps, wireframes/clickthroughs, dynamic prototypes, user flows, etc.)
Knowledge of the technology behind web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
Portfolio featuring examples of student projects, previous internships

Preferred qualifications:

Courses in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related field
Courses in product design and design practices
