Within the Development Department of our Technical Direction, you will join a team responsible for developing Bureau Veritas regulations.

Your role is to be the technical and regulatory reference on topics related to data management and artificial intelligence in the maritime sector.

The integration of connected equipment and automation offers many advantages to shipowners and operators.

The collection and analysis of onboard data, their transmission ashore, and the use of artificial intelligence improve the operational performance of ships and offshore units while reducing emissions, optimizing maintenance, and controlling operating costs.

We are therefore looking for a Technical Data & AI Referent to monitor technological developments in this field.

Your missions are to:

Develop our Classification regulations related to digital systems, data management, and the use of artificial intelligence
Collaborate with our clients within development regulation working groups
Provide expertise to our operational teams on technical projects
Contribute to R&D projects with our industrial partners.

Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent, you have experience in Data & AI. Ideally, you have knowledge of the classification environment.

You have a strong interest for technical matters and good writing skills. Given the international environment of the position, a fluent level of written and spoken English is required.

Your analytical and teamwork skills, your autonomy and your interpersonal skills will contribute to your success.
