Purpose of the Job
Your mission is to lead the technical aspects of infrastructure maintenance vehicles scope. Direct the sub-system design activities. Produce sub-system design deliverables as per specifications.

Support the project's provisioning via continuous coordination with stakeholders and contribute to bids activities under the umbrella of DEQ platform.


Your mission includes:


Infrastructure maintenance vehicles scope Technical Lead:

You will act as SPoC (Single Point of Contact) vis-à-vis internal and external stakeholders (the client, suppliers, and system/Turnkey teams), with regards to technical aspects of the scope.


Direct the sub-system design activities

  • Contribute to the delivery of interface objectives and review those of System/Turnkey.
  • Manage and plan the design activities workload and pilot the design reviews

Produce sub-system design deliverables as per specifications

  • Produce and maintain up to date the technical specifications, project documents, plans, and references.
  • Prepare subsystem interface documents like signalling and rolling stock
  • Coordinate with different metiers like RAMS, Cybersecurity, Eco Design, CEM, ILS, etc.

Support the project's provisioning

  • Prepare the technical specifications of suppliers to be as reference during tender phase.
  • Direct the technical activities with suppliers from design to service stage
  • Evaluate suppliers' proposals leading to selection

Key actor to bids activities.

  • Under the Depot and Equipment Platform umbrella, contribute to bids activities in support to Alstom local teams worldwide.

Your profile:


You are well organized and structured, with the ability to work effectively against deadlines and to make the decisions required by the role.

You are capable of coordinating work within the scope and handling conflict resolutions. You have a high degree of integrity.

You are fluent in French (imperative) and English.


Education:


  • You have an Engineering degree in mechanics or electromechanics.
  • Technical master's degree is a plus

Experience and specific knowledge:

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in a railway turnkey project
  • Overall knowledge in railway systems with experience in locomotives manufacturing or railway construction machinery or rolling stock maintenance.
