The ICC World Chambers Federation team is looking for an intern to contribute to the development and support of the department activities.

As the institutional representative of over 45 million businesses in more than 170 countries, the International Chamber of Commerce operates with a core mission to "make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere".

We act as the primary voice of the real economy in a range of intergovernmental organisations - from the World Trade Organisation to the UN climate process - championing the needs of local business in global decision making.

The convening power of our global network enables us to set rules and standards that facilitate over $10 trillion dollars in trade each year - as well as providing tailored products and digital services that directly address the real challenges faced by businesses operating internationally.

We also provide the world's premier private global dispute resolution services, leveraging ICC's unique independence, integrity and expertise.

The World Chambers Federation (WCF) is ICC's unique and truly global forum uniting the global network of chambers and their respective business communities.

It is a non-political, non-governmental body, and is the backbone of the chamber community providing a platform for chamber leaders to communicate and collaborate with each other on matters of mutual interest and facilitating beneficial partnerships.

The World Chambers Federation team is looking for an intern to assist them starting July 2023 for 6 months.

The role
Contribute to the development and support of the department's activities, including:

Support the organisation and coordination of the different department's meetings (on-site and virtual)
Content preparation and technical support of Chambers Connect, ICC's online platform for chambers of commerce worldwide
Help with strategic partnerships activities: support in the development of partnerships (especially partnerships with transnational chambers from all regions of the world)
Implement different mailings from ICC CRM, including the WCF monthly newsletter;
Track and measure success of content efforts via reporting on analytics tools
Help with chamber data update in coordination with CRM team and membership team

Note that the intern can be asked, depending on the department's needs, to support cross-cutting projects within the WCF department.

Requirements:

Important information:

Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland should get an appropriate visa from the French consulate. Interns are also required to handle their own travel/accommodation arrangements for the duration of their stay. The ICC is not in a position to provide scholarships/fellowships.
The 6month internship programmes are
fulltime, and the average working week is 35 hours. The intern will be expected to be onsite during the week of the ICC Mediation Competition.
The intern will receive a monthly gratification of about EUR 700 gross + meal vouchers + partial compensation (70%) of public transport costs.
