Description

Within the Export Sales team and reporting to the Export Sales Director, your role will be to support the development of the activities in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

You will be in charge of prospecting new customers on Telenco's "Mobile" offering with active FTTA equipment manufacturers, and developing the relation with existing customers in the fixed network (FTTH) markets.


You will be responsible for sales in these areas: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.

As Area Sales Manager we will expect you to:

  • Follow and manage customers and the distribution network in your area (operators, integrators, installers)
  • Identify new customers and distributors for Telenco's "Mobile" offering
  • Develop Telenco's sales activity with active FTTA equipment manufacturers (Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, etc.)
  • Ensure the technical prescription of Telenco's solutions
  • Negotiate sales contracts with different stakeholders, in line with the Group's commercial policy
  • Monitor and report your business activity
  • Follow and share the market trends and expectations in order to adapt the offering
  • Prepare commercial and technical offers with the support of the Marketing team
  • Take part in international trade fairs and exhibitions related to your business
  • Manage the various budgets in line with defined objectives

Profile required:


With a sale or technical degree from a business or engineering school, you have at least 5 years' experience of export sales in the industrial sector in a similar position.

You ideally have already worked in the Telecom industry or have strong background in these field.

You are fluent in English, but a second language would be appreciated.


Business oriented with a results-oriented culture, you have excellent people skills and a quick understanding of customers' needs in both phone and face to face situations.

Your autonomy and your perseverance in your day-to-day activities will be a serious asset to succeed in your tasks.


You will work on home office, ideally located in one of your dedicated country with frequent international travels to meet the customers.

You will come several times a year in headquarter in France (near Grenoble) to be trained on Telenco products regularly and take part in Export Sales team meetings.


Job conditions:


  • Fixed salary + bonus based on objectives
  • Job location: home office with travel to head office in Moirans
  • International travels : Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia
