The Business Unit South Europe is engaged in its transformation to support Nexans

To reach this vision, key initiatives are identified :

Value and Premium strategy (through differentiated products and packaging) to follow the Economic path, Sustainability and impact reduction of our operations (Energy consumption reduction, Scrap reduction and valorization, circular economy via recycled material use optimization), digitalization and automatization.

The main responsibilities of the Automation Project Manager will be:

To oversee the successful completion of the industrial projects of the BU (Premium projects identified, Automatization )
To monitor the projects progress and completion, and ensures that they meet the expectations of the clients and all the key stakeholders
Determine project approaches, define client needs, identify projects scope and project charters
Propose and validate with the identified stakeholders, projects targets and deliverables
Lead project planning sessions
Coordinate staff and internal resources and align project execution with the strategy, mission, culture and ethics of the organization
Manage and monitor project progress and adapt work as required
Ensure projects meet deadlines, and initial objectives
Manage relationships with identified stakeholders
Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Design risk mitigation plan, identify and clear project issues, identify innovative solutions and approches
Conduct project review and create detailed reports for management team
Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
Manage large and diverse teams
Industrialize properly each key industrial modification
To create links and networks, to develop knowledge about packaging processes through the concerned plants of the Business Unit
To prepare the automatization vision that will be deployed after digitalization implementation.

What We Are Looking For:

Engineering background specialized in mechanical or in automation
At least 5 years' experience in a similar position
Fluent (in writing and speaking) in French & English language
Project Management skills
Transversal stakeholders management
Teamwork
