In the context of our development we a looking for a** Data Engineer.**

Integrated into the Data Science research team within the iBIOPSY BU, the Data Engineer will handle different steps in the lifecycle of the data from acquisition to restitution. In accordance with specifications and protocoles from the clinical science and data science teams, the Data Engineer will develop algorithms to help make raw data more useful to the company. The Data Engineer will handle data at different stages, including but not limited to data transfer, data transformation, database manipulation, quality monitoring, or other dashboards. This data engineer position calls for special skills for data validation, testing, and overall quality control at the different stages of the data lifecycle at Median. The Data Engineer will interact with the different teams w.r.t the clinical problems that have been identified by Median in collaboration with its global clinical and pharmaceutical partners.

Position attached to the iBiopsy business unit to iBiopsy Data Science team, under the supervision of the Data and Knowledge Coordination Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop data set processes
2. Design and implement data validation and testing, with visualization.
3. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
4. Prepare data for data science use.
5. Take part in the iBiopsy product development

**Education** : Eng. or MSc. in Mathematics/Statistics/Physics/Computer Science
**Experience** : Strong background in data analytics, knowledge management, and visualisation (3 years min)

**Additional requirements**
- Knowledge of MRI and DICOM standards / medical image management
- Strong programming skills in Pandas, mongoDB, SQL, using Python, shell programming, and at ease using different programming languages.
- Application and deployment (docker, kubernetes), Azure environment.
- Database and Data Modelling.
- Linux/Unix systems.
- Human skills for management, organization, and inter-team collaboration.
- Fluent in French and English.
