Votre rôle et vos missions:


You will be joining Information Management team, led by the Chief Data Officer (CDO), whose main mission is to setup and deploy the Data Strategy across the AXA Corporate Center through (i) Data Governance and Quality framework (including Data Privacy & Data Security), (ii) efficient Data Architecture design, (iii) Data Operation services and (iv) Data Culture fostering.


Information Management team relies on three sub-teams:

  • Data Governance
  • Data Transformation
  • Data Operations

Main purpose:


As a Data Governance Analyst, reporting to the head of Data Governance, you will be responsible for deploying, monitoring and improving the data governance framework across AXA Corporate Center.

You'll be responsible for bringing data governance expertise, facilitating interactions between business and IT stakeholders, sharing best practices, and ensuring data standards and policies are known and duly applied by all business teams.


This governance framework aims at:

  • Building and maintaining a central and unique referential (through Collibra tool) on processes and data to ensure operational efficiency, internal simplification and systematic capitalization on our existing assets,
  • Clarifying accountability on data to optimize data architecture (reduction of duplicates) and improve data quality
  • Defining and enforcing data governance rules and standards, ensuring compliance with external regulations (GDPR, Solvency II ) and efficient data management (data flows, data deletion,...)

Core activities:

What you will be responsible for:1) Take part in the deployment and monitoring of data governance framework across the Corporate Center

  • Perform cartography and recertification exercises with business teams in order to document the relevant processes, technical storage items (tools) and data which have to be included in data governance framework
  • Be a Data Governance referent, working closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards among all business teams to answer to their questions, provide orientations and ensure framework is enforced
  • Collaborate with data transversal stakeholders (Security, Data Protection, Risk...) to ensure global alignment on data policy and effective segregation of responsibilities between them (as data control functions, 2nd LoD) and data operational teams (business teams, 1st LoD)
2) Contribute to management of Collibra, the central referential for processes and data information

  • Master tool capabilities both from an enduser perspective (browsing, search, views ) and from an admin one (import/export data, data quality review, access rights management )
  • Animate trainings and provide support for endusers
3) Participate in monitoring and value creation tracking of data governance activities

  • Update the data policy over time with new/amended requirements when necessary
  • Perform analysis on Collibra content to bring insights on Corporate Center practices: process optimization, data management, potential risk areas
  • Monitor data governance KPI, ensuring objectives are reached and breaches are identified to escalate accordingly
  • Prepare support documentation and participate to Data Committee
4) Promote data culture across the Corporate Center and contribute to improvement of data maturity through diverse communication formats and events
