Essential Functions:


Responsibilities:

To represent Goodwill Industries at the worksite. To ensure that all work is performed to contract specifications.

• To sort and route incoming mail, whether received through USPS, another carrier or through interoffice mail.
• To receive and safeguards incoming checks, money orders, drafts, etc. with or without correspondence.
• To receive daily all sorts, routes, and records, by receipt and prepares all outgoing highspeed delivery mail and packages.
• To possess and maintain a valid driver's license and to be insurable by the Company's automotive insurance carrier. Must obey all traffic/safety laws.
• Must have complete knowledge of the statement of work and assume supervisory duties in the absence of the mailroom supervisor.

• Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
• Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with, and among, contract personnel.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights and weekends, and occasionally, long or extended hours.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 70 #=s frequently and 50 #=s occasionally.
• Must be able to engage in prolonged standing, walking and in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

Requirements:

Two years of experience in the mailroom field, with two years of supervisory experience required. Must wear company issued uniforms and safety shoes.
