    We are looking for an experienced Charged Particle Scientist / Physicist to join our SIMULIA Electromagnetics global technical sales team.

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Help solve complex simulation problems that highlight the capabilities of the SIMULIA Electromagnetic tools to address real life problem
    • Provide expert domain knowledge to assist with sales activities throughout the various stages of the Value Engagement Framework
    • Perform prospect needs assessments, architect solutions and generate high-value solution proposals
    • Contribute to the enablement of other technical sales engineers and support engineers in your areas of expertise
    • Develop and deliver high quality training materials, customized to specific industries and requirements
    • Maintain a close link with the product development teams in order to drive the continuous improvement of our market leading simulation tools
    • Support creation of script and material for customer's specific demonstration within the engagement team
    • Propose best methodologies and usages of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform related to customers' business processes modeling, analysis and reengineering on targeted scope
    • Keep up with the latest scientific developments in the area of Charged Particles
    • MSc. or PhD. in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields; focus on Accelerator Physics would be an advantage
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the area of charged particle devices. Can have been obtained concurrently with university degree.
    • In-depth knowledge of electromagnetic field theory with applicability to electron and ion sources, DC and AC accelerating structures, particle beams or plasma; particle optics experience would be an advantage
    • Experience performing Finite Element / FDTD electromagnetic simulation using SIMULIA CST Studio Suite / Opera or similar
    • Familiarity with a broad range of applications related to charged particles, such as electron gun, ion sources, x-ray tubes, lithography or low energy beam transport
    • Ability writing computer code using Python or other object-oriented language
    • Proven experience in a customer facing role
    • Strong communication skills, fluent in English
    • Opportunity to travel (typically ~15-20% expected, with short term higher peaks possible)
