Position description
Based in Lyon (France) or Göteborg (Sweden), you will be part of Thermal Man. Purchasing team with colleagues based both in Göteborg and Lyon.
You will work in a global environment with exiting challenges.
As an apprentice buyer for Thermal scope, you will support supplier selection, manage the portfolio continuous improvement & performance.

Together with your purchasing and cross-functional network, you will proactively drive all relevant activities, to continuously secure a best-in-class supplier QDCFTSR (*) performance during product development and serial life.

(*) QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management
Missions
You will be part of all the below activities within the Thermal Man

Scope:

Drive all relevant activities to deliver QDCFTSR (*) targets during Sourcing/Project and Operations phases
Lead strategic sourcing projects to completion in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
Drive commercial negotiations with suppliers
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and ensure implementation
Identify, mitigate and monitor risks and supplier crisis
Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, sharing good cases and ask for support when needed

You have a cando approach: you have a positive mindset, high level of energy, and you are ready to tackle challenges,
You like to do business, demonstrate superior communication skills and comfortable in crossfunctional and multicultural setup,
You are fluent in English,
You enjoy managing many parallel activities and you have a targetoriented approach,
You are following an engineering or business school academic training, targeting a Master of Science or Business Administration,
Former experience in Purchasing, technical background and automotive experience are considered as assets
