Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager Solutions Structuring.
The key purpose of this role is to be responsible for structuring complex deals across the whole range of Global Trade & Receivables Finance's (GTRF) solutions.
Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise to Front-Line Business Development Managers, assisting in the structuring of bespoke open account solutions, and ensuring a high quality customer experience.
In this role you will:
- Support the delivery of revenue to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and maximise the extent to which client needs are met for GTRF in the region
- Assess gaps in the current offering and feed it back to the Product Management team
- Provide support and technical expertise to the business development teams on key deals and clients, liaising with product, implementation and proposition teams
- Work closely with the Implementation team to ensure solution can be implemented successfully
- Personally and through others, hold and develop predominant technical expertise in open account solutions (for instance, but not limited to, Receivables Finance, Supply Chain finance, ABLs) across geographies with understanding of trends and market development.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Trade Finance structures at a global level having experience in global multinational financial departments, Receivables Finance, supply chain, pre-export finance, and/or commodity finance.
- Proven track record of having closed large ticket structured trade finance deals
- Thorough understanding of Working Capital management aspects
- Strong financial and analytical skills with very good problem analysis (pointing out problems, recognising important information, establishing connections)
- Demonstrated experience working across a number of international markets
- Broad knowledge of the trends in the Open Account area as they impact Large Corporate and Global Banking segments
- Good knowledge of Receivables Finance, Supply Chain and Open Account propositions and business models.
- Proven ability to navigate and implement inside a crossfunctional and matrix organizational model
- Strong independent contributor, who is comfortable working on multiple assignments, where the teams will often be distributed across the region and culturally diverse
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point and use of market platforms like Bloomberg, S&P capital, functions
- Knowledge of Legal frameworks and capable to manage legal discussions in relation to such Open Account structures.
The base location for this role is Paris, this role is Hybrid working as you'll be expected to work in the office as per business requirements.
