Purpose and mission of the role:


Raw material sourcing and operational and supply chain effectiveness, are key areas and key drivers of our overall business performance.

The role will work in very close collaboration with the central procurement director and the central operations/supply chain director

A specific mission for the role is to
enhance finance savvy linked to the procurement and integrated supply chain areas both centrally and in the regions


This is a
critical role within a small central Finance team, working closely with other Finance colleagues in the central function as well as the regional Finance colleagues and the wider business.

An important part of the role is to bridge central and regional teams both finance and supply chain/operations/procurement

This role is reporting directly to the CFO. Location can be in various offices of the business, a certain amount of travel is to be expected.


_Main contributions_:


PROCUREMENT Finance Decision Support

  • Assist procurement director with strategic projects assessing the full business case (example: sourcing alternatives, esourcing projects, harmonization projects)
  • Help with developing procurement processes and implementation of governance and compliance
  • Assist sourcing team and finance teams in the regions with quarterly forecasts and in between assessments / Market evolution tracking / contract and coverage tracking / Value Optimization projects
  • Both challenger role and clarifying role (assumptions, risks and opps) for the procurement team in day to day and projects
  • Finance support for budget processing (data, assumptions, impacts etc)
  • Aid monitoring via sourcing KPI dashboards and reports and by organizing/monitoring datacollection, tracking and automation
  • Accompany acquisition integration from a procurement view point
  • Digital support for the procurement function (strategic and day to day) : tools, platforms,
  • Explore options for hedging (commodities and currency)

OPERATION AND SUPPLY CHAIN Finance Decision Support

  • Assist Ops and Supply Chain director with transformational and strategic projects assessing the full business case (example: large capital projects, capacity studies, footprint studies)
  • Both support and challenger role in day to day and larger initiatives
  • Help develop and maintain KPI dashboards and tracking (Performance KPIs, Capital spend.)
  • Aid in the setting up of processes and governance (capex, KPIs,)
  • Specific focus on assistance and help to drive budget and forecasting processes (local and central)
  • Assist in financial tracking of continuous improvement processes in the factories together with local finance teams, local operations teams and the group continous process improvement manager
  • Support inventory analysis and inventory improvement processes (regional and central)
  • Participate in the digital journey for this area of the business
  • Education Background Finance, or equal by experience

Significant experience in business controlling, ideally in procurement, logistics, operations:


  • Sound Accounting process knowledge
  • Expertise in business controlling/decision support
  • Strong Analytical mind
  • Navigation through complex situations, organizational set up
  • Problem Solver and enjoy finding solutions
  • Good influencing skills : Multiple internal and external stakeholders management
  • Strong communication skills / building relationship/ collaborative
  • Good working knowledge of digital tools (Excel, ERPs, Business intelligence)
  • Can work independently, is Pragmatic and action orientated
  • Language requirement**:Fluent English, French language capability highly recommended
