    A Snapshot of Your Day:

    In your role as Head of Tax Siemens Energy France you will be the first point of contact in France for Siemens Energy's and Siemens Gamesa's tax related matters. You will report to the Head of Tax South West Europe. You will support business units, local finance management and other support functions in every tax related aspect.

    Among other things, you will have technical responsibility for tax compliance, tax reporting & tax audits, advise on international project business and transfer pricing, and support M&A and reorganizations.

    How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Comprehensive tax analysis of the company's local and international business projects and transactions (including permanent establishments in Africa)
  • Coordinate tax audits and tax administration and tax litigation processes
  • Assist in the elaboration of the VAT reliable audit trail, and assist with issues related to e-invoicing, Quick fixes, VAT audits.
  • Preparation and filing of all tax returns, provide direct and indirect tax support
  • Coordinate the calculation, payment, and accounting of the prepayments and of the balance of corporate income tax (tax consolidation in France).
  • Tax closing & reporting
  • Close cooperation with the company's business units for the evaluation and mitigation of tax risks with active participation in the design and structuring of business projects and transactions
  • Tax support in the company's M&A transactions
  • Advise in transfer pricing matters and support in the preparation of related documentation
  • Manage the French Tax team (1 senior tax advisor + 1 trainee)
  • What You Bring:

  • University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Law
  • Specific academic background (or postgraduate studies) in Tax will be a plus
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in tax advisory and tax compliance roles
  • In depth local tax knowledge, knowledge in international tax law experience of advising corporate matters on international tax topics
  • Ability to operate effectively and collaborate in a team environment, and build networks with other teams and companies in the group
  • Enthusiasm to learn and proactive mindset

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • English at professional working proficiency level
