    To support this growth, we are looking for a Sales Manager F/H in charge of managing the sales process for the existing customers and new business development. The Market includes automotive, food and beverage, medical, construction, oil and gas....

    In order to accelerate growth and penetration in the market, while developing high value solutions that serve the target customer bases, Bodycote S3P is looking for an individual who can work directly with customers to develop solutions and drive specification and commercialization. This person will employ a hands-on, problem solving, technical approach to application development. It is a significant opportunity to enter a profitable, high-tech business at a very early stage, and participate in the building of that business. This person will build pipeline opportunities, while closing existing ones, driving and accelerating the growth of our business.

    Fully responsible to achieve your defined sales targets
    Responsible for the development of our business by identifying new applications and markets, gaining new customers and increasing market awareness in a competitive market
    Building long term relationships with customers
    Penetrate the market further in current successful applications
    Get access to the R&D, quality and service teams at OEM customers and end-users offering our surface treatment solutions
    Maintain regular follow-up with customers on projects, driving their specification of the process and ultimately commercialization of customers programs
    Grow the project pipeline and develop business with a hands-on approach
    Present technology to technical groups and organizations
    Actively work on sales targets and KPI achievement including regular reporting and sales pipeline maintenance

    Bachelor degree in engineering or metallurgy preferably with an additional commercial education
    Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the surface treatment, metal or machine building industry but we will consider young professionals with a strong personal fit as well
    Very good communication skills within an international team with advanced English skills
    Experience in sales and business development
    Experienced in selling technical services or products in need of explanation
    Willing to learn and understand customer needs and to develop corresponding solutions
    A strong sales/commercial attitude with good negotiation and presentation skills
    Self-driven personality with the desire to develop the French market
    Advanced English skills and of a second language, preferably German
    Solid MS Office knowledge and knowledge in SalesForce (CRM)
    Willingness to travel about 50%
    Analytic thinking, open minded character
