Delta Industrial Automation Business Group offers automation products and solutions with high performance and reliability, including drives, motion control systems, industrial control and communication, power quality improvement, human machine interfaces, sensors, meters, and robot solutions.

For our IABG Delta Team, we are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Field Application Engineer to support the growth of our business in France.

• Good knowledge of the Industrial Automation environment in France. Specific competences in one or more Industrial Automation vertical segments such as packaging, logistics, F&B, etc would be a plus.
• Support Sales in maintaining business relationships with the current regional partners, focusing on technical support and training, with particular attention to product introduction.
• Contribute with technical expertise to the development of new business relationships with key direct accounts, leveraging technical expertise with local support.
• Support the technical activities related to prospecting, configuring and quoting new projects.
• Commissioning of systems and field activity as solving technical problems.
• Support the implementation of the agreed business plan in the assigned areas, leveraging IABG product portfolio, core technologies and vertical markets competences.
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and revenue as agreed with the business leadership.
• Interact with technical teams across Delta organization.

• At least 5 years of technical experience within the Industrial Automation domain, with specific competences in PLC, HMI, Motion Controller, Frequency drives, Servo drives.
• Competences in PLC programming (Codesys knowledge would be a plus ), complemented with good knowledge of motion systems, including Frequency Drives and Servo Drives configuration and installation.
• CRM experience. Salesforce experience would be a plus
• Any equivalent education degree in Engineering or technical field is preferable.
• Fluent in French with good English communications skills.
• Ability to establish strong customer relationships
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with intercultural understanding.
• Good organizational, planning, analytical and presentation skills.
