Description
Software Engineer, Language - Generative AI Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, and execute on research that pushes forward the state of the art in responsible large language model research
- Directly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, writing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing results
- Develop methodology and tools to monitor and improve our training stack health
- Work with a large and globally distributed team
- Define the different engineering and research improvement paths that are necessary to train LLMs at scale
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience holding an industry, faculty, or government researcher position
- Experience writing software and executing complex experiments involving large AI in Python models and datasets
- Publications in machine learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and maintaining codebases
- Experience with low level engineering (C++, C, Rust or CUDA)
