Sales Manager (Western-Southern Europe)

You'll love this job if you like to:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and account strategies; segment, prioritize, and grow revenue within an assigned accounts territory.
  • Develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities and effectively manage the sales process including managing discovery, demonstrations, followup and negotiations.
  • Direct regular contact with senior IP professionals in accounts to build relationships and develop interest in our solutions. Marketing and Sales Development team contribute to this effort.
  • Demonstrations: Build a business case for our IP Business Platform and other products & services through onsite meetings, product demonstrations and guided evaluations. Sales Engineering and SME's support deep demos and evaluations, but Sales Managers (SM) are responsible for initial demonstrations and deep discovery. Demo skills required.
  • Proposals, RFP's and other responses are SM responsibility, with assistance of SME's
  • Closing: Complete the sales process, leveraging our legal team for contract negotiations.
  • Accurate forecasting and activity tracking in salesforce.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, is a plus.
  • 5+ years' experience in a full cycle sales role.
  • Strong knowledge or experience with Intellectual Property (Patents, Trademarks, Licensing) or Legal is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Proven success in complex sales cycles, leveraging consultative selling methodologies.
  • The ability to learn new technology and convey our message to customers quickly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and creative problemsolving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and gain a strong understanding of the area of intellectual property.
  • Knowledge or experience with Workflow based solutions is a plus.
  • Must be selfmotivated, methodical, optimistic and competitive.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% is required.
