Responsibilities:


As part of the FSP Team reporting to the France FSP Director (Functional Service Provider), you will ensure the staff under your responsibility delivers services on time, with high quality standards and within agreed budget.

You will do close follow-up with the client to ensure her/his satisfaction and maximize the potential development of Excelya's activities.


Your detailed responsibilities will be the following:

  • Ensure great onboarding to strongly motivate any newcomers and get all the requested material to deliver properly the project
  • Support direct reports with resolution of any relevant issues
  • Ensure appropriate followup with direct reports and with the clients to get a close vision of the projects delivered by the team
  • Get close understanding of the client's requests, and of his/her satisfaction in order to get the maximum visibility of the projects
  • Get close collaboration with client to build trust and to identify new opportunities of business
  • Perform monthly steering committee with the client to provide an overall vision of Excelya's performance and get Client feedback from the client (including director level)
  • Review timesheets and monitor billable versus spent hours per staff, per project (if applicable) and assess any gaps
  • Be responsible for collecting and assessing metrics for your perimeter: deadlines, costs, quality, customer satisfaction, profitability for monthly project review or any indicators linked to a Service Level Agreement
  • Review and approve expense reports
  • Control and validation of milestones and payment schedule
  • Support Business Managers in identification of new opportunities, contract negotiation and claims
  • Select staff to assign on projects through interviews organized by Talent Acquisition Officers and Business Managers
  • Support incoming RFP (Request for Proposal) by providing technical input
  • Be the key transversal contact for teams based in Montpellier and ensure Excelya delivers there an exciting employee experience
  • Support Montpellier office facilities

Skills and Experience:


  • At least 6 years of experience in clinical research area
  • Over 4 years of experience in Manager role.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Good understanding of project financials and project management practices.
  • Good client interaction thanks to good listening and proactivity.
  • Bachelor/ master's degree.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft tools).
This position is based in the Paris area with frequent travel to Montpellier and Lyon
