Global HSE - Life Cycle Analysis & Support - F/H/NB

Our Global HSE&Sustainability department is creating a new position for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Engineer on a permanent contract, as part of a team of 9 employees.

You will work closely with the Eco-design referent for the operational activity and with the professions involved in these projects.

What is your mission at bioMérieux ?

Be the guarantor of the LCA methodology (including monitoring, participation in external working groups) and associated tools and infrastructure (e.g.

environmental questionnaire) within the company,
Carry out and/or manage environmental studies (LCA, environmental questionnaire, etc.) and capitalize on the results to build generic models,
Present and explain LCA results to the teams involved,
"Popularize the LCA approach among the company's business lines, and propose and implement simplified tools,

Contribute to setting up and maintaining dashboards linked to Eco-design and, more broadly, to scopes 1, 2 and 3, in liaison with the respective experts.

Who are you ?
You have a Master's degree specialized in eco-design or Process Engineering with a specialization in LCA (and eco-design),
You have at least 3/5 years' experience in carrying out complex LCAs (knowledge of GABI software is a plus),
You are comfortable working with large amounts of data and are comfortable managing and administering computerized systems and associated databases,
You have a good command of French and a fluent level of English, enabling you to interact in a multi-cultural environment,
Analytical skills,
Excellent interpersonal, communication and teaching skills,
Organized, proactive, a source of proposals and autonomous,
Rigorous and pragmatic.
