We are looking for a fluent French speaking HR Manager with good working knowledge of employment in France, to join us on an interim basis to manage all HR & Recruitment processes for our CSM Live business in Paris.

This is an ideal role for someone who has worked within the events industry previously, due to the pace, deadlines and work around accreditation, international workforce and training required.

This is a contract role from July 2023 until September 2024,


Key responsibilities for this role include:
Recruitment

  • Participate in the development of resource and recruitment plans aligned to meet the resourcing and accreditation needs of all functional areas
  • Effectively track and monitor recruitment progress against plans, using Workday
Contract Management

  • Prepare employee contracts based on a template
Housing, Travels and relocation

  • Manage local requirements for expatriate employees including, flights rent, Visas and relocation
Health and Safety

  • Supervise and care for the wellbeing of the employees
  • Carry out wellbeing checks with employees and escalate any concerns accordingly
IT Equipment & Onboarding

  • Overseeing the assigning of the correct equipment, licenses and tools to work for all employees
  • Conducting new hire orientation and local onboarding
Payroll & Benefits

  • Review payroll and answer appropriate queries work with outsourced payroll provider to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Payment and supervision of the correct amounts paid to each and ensure it is in line with Labor Law rules
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors
Legal

  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organisation at hearings
General

  • Manage all HR employee documentation, including design and development where necessary, Translation, including role specifications, newsletters and joining instructions
  • Save all employee information on Box and also on Workday
  • Answering HR queries
  • Communicate effectively with all colleagues, participate in project team meetings as required and necessary client /organising committee meetings
  • Assist programme teams on relevant areas, including accreditation, working time restrictions, payroll systems, etc.
  • Ensure an understanding of accreditation types and restrictions
  • Guide and control accreditation procedures through relevant functional areas
  • Manage collation, accuracy and format of employee information for submission
  • Ensure timely submission of accreditation requests
  • Reporting periodically
