**Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a
Front-end developer transforming UX Design to operational Human Machine Interface (f/m) to join our Research and Innovation Department based in
Marignane , France.

As part of the team, you will be involved in:

  • Participate to the UX design process, challenging the proposed design helping to converge to an operational result.
  • Translate UX design into operational/interactive Human Machine Interface SW.
  • Design and develop logics and algorithms needed to interface properly with the other systems.
  • Be passionate about innovation and motivated to transform emerging technologies into breakthrough products

Your challenges:


  • Participate to define challenging but achievable targets (use cases) where the humanmachine interface remains essential to enable the crew to monitor and interact with the systems.
  • Understand and implement the UX strategy, participating to and challenging the design/validation processes.
  • Autonomously design and develop modules and functional blocks compatible with onboard systems.
  • Interface with other software teams (adapting to other software development methods/environments).
  • Ensure consistency throughout the prototype production cycle.
Main interfaces

  • Direct report to technical Team leader,
  • Manage External partners or suppliers,
  • Interact with internal relevant stakeholders,

Your Boarding Pass (Required skills):


  • Strong experience and skills in translating UX design into operational SW, (Evidence of skills / demonstration of participation and results on illustrative achievements on previous projects requested)
  • Ability to understand the finality of human machine interface,
  • Ability to understand the targeted use cases and to define the way to achieve and answer the best the objectives,
  • Strong experience with Figma and Design System.
  • Mastering Environment and languages: Linux, C++, Lua, Python, MathLab/SimuLink, Git,
  • Mastering "RUPTURE" (AH HMI tool) will be a plus.
  • Experience on Agile development methods,
  • Sharing the values of engagement, transparency, courage, humility
  • Motivated and engaged, with ability to handle various topics autonomously,
  • Team player, with ability/flexibility to work in a collaborative way (daily interaction).
  • Negotiation level in English
  • This position will require business travel
