Cement production is responsible for 8% of global CO2 emissions, more than aviation, shipping, and long-haul trucking combined.Ecocem is shaping the future of low carbon cement with ambitions to deliver a 50% cut in CO2 emissions from cement by 2030.
As part of our focus on continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Group Quality Manager.

As Group Quality Manager you will be responsible for leading an established Quality Assurance (QA) team, building on, and evolving our quality management system and safety culture.
Key to success will be the continued improvement of our people and quality management system (QMS), ensuring it is at the heart of Ecocem's business operations and company culture.
Requirements:
Role Responsibilities
- Lead quality at group level through effective communication and implementation of group quality plan and KPIs
- Coordinate quality leads across four locations in achieving group quality targets
- Ensure all aspects of product quality: incoming raw materials, production QA, standard compliance
- Reporting to senior management team on quality performance
- Maintain company Quality Management System in relation to Product Standards (EN 15167, EN 197) and ISO's Certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
- Act as management representative and lead internal and external audits
- Manage budgets for the quality laboratories to maintain equipment inventories
- Interact with our commercial and innovation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product development needs are fulfilled
- Represent Ecocem at relevant international and national standardisation committees and working groups
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years management experience in the construction materials sector
- Proven track record of successful team management and deliver high performance outcomes
- Qualification in concrete technology
- Certificated qualifications in ISO Management System and/or Lean Six Sigma
- BSc Degree in Engineering preferred
