Division Overview
Strategy is at the core of the business of Adenza. A well-articulated and quantified strategy drives the attention and investment across the organization.

The Capital Market Solution Strategy Division is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the sales organization and driving the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives for Adenza in partnership with multiple stakeholders across R/D, Finance, and Customer Success.

The Presales sub-division delivers end-to-end activities to win new business with existing and new clients by working closely with every department to deliver high-quality responses and impactful presentations.

The Product Marketing division organizes Go-To-Market activities and promotes the corresponding solutions to customers, prospects, and partners through all available media.

Team and Role Overview

Adenza is seeking a Presales - Senior Market Specialist to join Continental Europe, Middle East, and Africa Market Specialist, team.

The role is based in Paris and represents an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and fast-growing company.

This is a key role in the sales process, offering real responsibility and exposure to many areas of the business.

The main objective of the Pre-Sales Market Specialist is to support the sales organization in achieving its target by delivering high-quality and effective solution presentations and product demonstrations.

This is a varied and highly visible position that requires detailed business and domain knowledge and the confidence and drives to represent Adenza as we continue to grow.


Responsibilities:


Prepare and present well-rehearsed, smooth flowing solution demos and presentations to prospects and clients based on the findings from the discovery phase, RFPs/RFIs, or other gathered user requirements by configuring the system to demonstrate how Calypso can meet client's requirements - both individually and collectively as part of a team - highlighting the solution functionality and value in the Capital Markets / Investment Management Post Trade Processing and Accounting topics.

Post-Trade Processing such as but not limited to Settlements, Confirmations / Messaging, and Accounting
Capital Markets/Investment Management Workflows
Trade Lifecycle Processing (Resets, Fixings, Corporate Actions, etc.)
Sub-Ledger Accounting standards
Collateral Management & Clearing
Custody Business
Treasury, Cash/Nostro Management & Matching
SWIFT standards

Deliver the value proposition and the Unique Selling Points of our Solution in the Initial Demo as and when required.

Identify and flag product gaps for necessary prospect/client communication by Presales.
Driving product improvements, working closely with the Product Management team
Producing solution scope documents and handover documents to the Implementation team
Responding to RFI/RFP documents from prospects and partners
Understand and stay current on key business requirements of your market. Support product management, marketing, and sales in competitive positioning and product leadership.
Travel throughout the North America and Latin America as necessary to meet with clients and prospects
Skills And Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
Experience in Post-Trade Processing activities and detailed knowledge of Back Office, Collateral Management, and Custody as it relates to Capital Markets and/or Investment Management products
Good understanding of Interest Rate, Fixed Income, FX, Credit, Equity Derivatives, Commodity, and/or Structured Products (OTC and Listed)
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working hands-on with customers. Verbal and presentation skills are critically important
Calypso or similar solution experience would be a huge plus
Understanding the competitive offering landscape
Willingness and ability to travel as required

Adenza Paris is located on the ground floor of the Centorial, an emblematic building of Paris, between the Place de l'Opéra Garnier and the Palais de la Bourse.

Our location is convenient as it is in front of the "Quatre Septembre" station, providing excellent transport links, and it is near several restaurants, coffee shops, and Gyms as well.

Our suite can accommodate about 125 employees and have 8 conference rooms. We also have a game room and a common kitchen with fresh fruit delivered once a week
