We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated short-term Interest Rates Trader for our client based in Paris. The Global Investment Bank in question are actively expanding their Rates Franchise so this role offers unique progression.
Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with STIR, FX swaps, FX Forwards, XCCY/cross-currency market making.
The successful applicant must be able to manage high-volume client flow while staying up-to-date with trends that affect interest rate movements at both macroeconomic levels (global) or microeconomics (local).
Responsibilities include but not limited too;The ideal candidate should understand how these skills can play into executing trades efficiently when it comes down negotiating prices during fast-paced environments - keeping profitability top-of-mind always.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
To qualify for this position candidates need only possess strong quantitative analytical capabilities regarding data interpretation & analysis along with excellent communication skills which would allow them interact comfortably across all relevant stakeholder groups including sales teams who depend upon their support often times daily basis.
In addition potential traders should also hold degrees from reputable universities demonstrating expertise either within mathematics/statistics/econometrics/engineering fields; industry recognized professional qualifications are highly desired however not required given enough understanding around aforementioned skillsets mentioned above.
