opportunity **
Reporting directly to the Global Sporstyle Commercial & Merchandising Manager our future Global Merchandising Manager W/M
will in charge of managing the merchandising process for assigned scope to create assortment plans that maximize:
  • sales, sales per door, share of shelf, profitability,
- sell through, & range efficiency.


Main activities:

Develops seasonal, annual and long-term product strategy and merchandising plans in line with the regional and global channel management,

Defines consumer right assortments by channel and customer, based on shopper profile using consistent criteria.

Conducts regular landscape assessments including competitor benchmarking, marketplace assessment and brand positioning
-
Defines clear actions for improving the assortment performance short, mid and long-term
by
leveraging
business intelligence in combination with detailed feedback from the sales development team (sell-in, sell-through, stock level).

Identifies gaps in merchandising plan, provides market and consumer feedback to global product team during I2P meetings.

Manages pricing per country, margin and channel mix to achieve profitability targets

Responsible for the B2B demand planning forecast for the assigned scope

Collaborates with the sales team and the products team to ensure that the global vision is well executed, while creating the right level of localization, channel differentiation and cross-categories consistency.

Shares seasonal plan for pricing, volume, margin and channel mix with the merchandising director and provides regular updates within the season.

Partners with marketing teams to define the seasonal campaign activation for relevant accounts in line with the global brand calendar to enhance the consumer experience in the marketplace.

Cascades seasonal programs to each channel leader and key stakeholders through a robust handover process.

Supports sales teams in key account meetings, sales launches, introduction of new technologies.
