Dans ce cadre, la chaire Cellulose Valley recrute un POST-DOC pour un projet d'1 an (prolongeable 1 an)

In this context, the Cellulose Valley Chair is recruiting a POST-DOC for a 1-year project (extendable to 1 year)

The position is based at LGP2 - Process Engineering Laboratory for Biorefinery, Bio-based Materials and Functional Printing, UMR CNRS 5518

Rattaché à l'équipe de recherche Matériaux biosourcé multi-échelle du laboratoire LGP2, vous aurez comme mission principale le suivi d'un projet de recherche dans le cadre de la chaire Cellulose Valley en collaboration avec 8 industriels (Decathlon, Chanel, Marie, Citeo, Ahlstrom, Aptar, Guillin Emballage, DS Smyth).

A ce titre, vous serez amené à piloter le projet que cela soit au niveau de la partie expérimentale avec des travaux à l'échelle laboratoire et pilote qu'au niveau du management de projet (rencontres avec de multiples partenaires externes ou internes et la rédaction de rapport ou la réalisation de présentations intermédiaires).

Le projet de Post-Doc concerne plus particulièrement le développement de matériaux cellulosiques étirables avec des propriétés spécifiques pour remplacer les plastiques.

Les principaux challenges scientifiques sont : formulation cellulose et biopolymères, comprendre l'impact des mélanges (nano)cellulosique sur les propriétés mécaniques, développe nouveau procédé pour des emballages étirables, contrôler la recyclabilité et l'analyse de cycle de vie.12 month site contract (extendable for 12 months).

The "Cellulose Valley" Chair deals with new cellulosic materials for innovative packaging solutions to propose single use plastic alternatives. The main idea is to develop bio-based, biodegradable and recyclable packaging solutions to answer expectations of our society. This chair is a consortium of 8 industrial partners (Decathlon, Chanel, Marie, Citeo, Ahlstrom, Aptar, Guillin Emballage, DS Smyth), with several PhDs, Post-docs and Masters.
The Post-Doc proposal below concerns the development of stretchable cellulosic materials with specific functions to replace plastics.
The main scientific Challenges are: formulate cellulose biopolymers blends, understand impact of new (nano)cellulosic blend in mechanical properties, develop new process for stretchable materials, monitor recyclability and Life cycle analysis of the high performance 3D cellulosic composite.
This project will be based in LGP2 in close collaboration with the industrial partners with several meetings, collaborations and visits.
