A vacancy for one Stress Engineer
(M/F) has arisen within Airbus inside the NANTES Plant Engineering Team
(PET)
The Nantes PET provides design office support to the AIRBUS Nantes plant.
Our expertise covers the design, manufacture and innovation of both metallic and composite elementary parts, as well as their assembly into a wide range of major constituent assemblies for all Airbus family of aircraft.
The job holder will be responsible for ensuring both the team dynamic, allowing a good level of team autonomy and development, and the good deliveries of engineering activities of his perimeter.
Tasks and responsibilities:
You should be prepared to try new ways of working, reinforcing our core values of Team work, Customer Focus, Reliability, Respect, and Creativity.
In this frame, you will be technically in charge of Approving new design technical solutions and justifications linked to deviations.
You will have the following tasks and accountabilities:
Ensure the safe operation of Airbus aircraft with respect to structural integrity.
Perform and provide technical guidance for structure stress, in the metal and composite domain.
Provide technical leadership on some engineering projects and items.
Support production by answering engineering technical requests for the several production stakeholders.
Coordinate different stress activities to fulfill Airworthiness requirements.
Steer activities in terms of Cost, Time & Quality.
Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Contribute to prepare the Future fostering Improvements & Innovation within the team

Profil recherché:
Required skills:
Educated to an Engineering Degree or equivalent in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
At least 5 years' experience in Aerospace Structural Engineering
Good level of knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools would be a plus
Ability to organize, structure your daily work in the team and Multiple Functional Team projects and manage multiple tasks in parallel
Drumbeat deliverables - perform project execution follow-up, stakeholders management
Autonomous approach with a good ability to react and adapt
Good communications and presentations skills
Leadership skills, pro-activity and energy to anticipate and support changes
Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary environment
French:
advanced level
